Our
very own Lee Marshall signing autographs at the Ventura
County Fair! Congrats to Charlotte Barnes of Oxnard and Zandy
Prosser of Ventura. It really paid off when they stopped by
the Boomer booth at the Ventura County Fair. Charlotte is the winner
of a spectacular video library of Elvis Presley and Marilyn Monroe
movies while Zandy is the winner of a true piece of Rock N Roll
history as she's the winner of the guitar signed by Neil Diamond
himself! Thanks to everyone who dropped by the Boomer booth at the
Ventura County Fair!

Guess
Who's in the Picture with Lee
|
Here
are some clues
These long time friends have a number of things in common:
They were both conceived in Brooklyn
They both have a son and a daughter
They both started their professional Rock & Roll careers
in 1964
They have both been inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of
Fame
They both have the same color eyes
These long time friends also have some big differences:
One plays Rock & Roll on the radio while the other plays
Rock & Roll to some of the largest audiences in history
One of them always wears a mustache while one of them grows
a beard and moustache when not performing so he may be less
recognizable
One of the is Lee Marshall

Chad
Everett, the veteran actor, stopped by the Lee Marshall
Class Reunion Show on June 12! Boomer listeners may remember
Chad from the hit show "Medical Center" as
Dr. Gannon; among many other great roles he has played
throughout the years. "Medical Center" happened
to be the longest running medical tv show ever and we here at
The Boomer were proud to have Chad grace our airwaves!
Chad stopped in to tell us all about the Father's Day Car
Show at Cal Lutheran University benefitting a number
of charities including Hospice of Conejo Valley and "The
Gift of Life." Read
more about it by clicking here. |
